Founder + CEO + Chief Cheerleader | Philanthropē Reimagined
Certified Fundraising Professional | Speaker | Consultant + Coach
Megan Theiling Draper is a powerhouse of purpose and philanthropy—a visionary leader with a heart for people and a mission to reimagine generosity. She’s the founder of Philanthropē Reimagined, where she partners with mission-driven organizations to create sustainable, generational impact. Simply put: she helps good people do good things.
Megan’s journey into the world of giving started with gratitude. As a college student at Furman University, a simple moment of saying “thank you” at a donor event sparked something bigger: a calling. That heart-led clarity has shaped a career marked by strategic leadership, soul-deep service, and a gift for building authentic relationships.
With experience spanning executive fundraising roles at The Madeira School and the Medical University of South Carolina, Megan is a seasoned professional, earning her certified fundraising executive certification in 2011. She’s also been recognized as one of Charleston’s 40 Under 40, selected for MUSC’s Advanced Leadership Program, and has actively contributed to the philanthropic field through speaking engagements, mentoring, and leadership in the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP).
But Megan’s impact doesn’t stop at fundraising—she became a Go + Tell Gals certified coach, in 2022 with a vision of walking alongside nonprofit leaders to uncover purpose, reclaim rest, and move boldly in their callings.
Whether she’s speaking on a webinar, leading a team, or praying over a friend, Megan shows up with presence, wisdom, and her signature blend of strategy and spirit (and usually with a Diet Coke in hand).
Megan lives in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina with her husband, Trevor, and their two children. When she’s not coaching or consulting, you’ll find her serving joyfully at Seacoast Church, loving her people, or dreaming up new ways to make giving feel sacred again.
